We are starting our new lives as working civilians. This past Saturday we arrived in Florence after a grueling holiday traffic filled 9 hour drive. Nevertheless we arrived safely:) Today was Rory's first day at Progress Energy in Hartsville, SC. As some of you may be wondering since the last blog regarding our move said we were going to live in Hartsville plans changed. We found a home in Florence for which I am grateful. Florence is larger than Hartsville though still smaller. I guess I wasn't really all that ready to live in a REALLY small town so I am relived. This does mean that my dear husband has to drive approx 45min to working in the morning. Thank you Rory!
Our closing is scheduled for the 11th of January! Until then and while we do some work in the house we are living in an apartment conveniently located across from the development. I will be sure to do my best in keeping you all updated on life here in the Palmetto State.
