We went on our babymoon this past weekend. For those of you unfamiliar with that term (It was new to me as well) that is just the term used to describe a weekend that you and your honey take off to be alone before the baby arrives. We had to do our babymoon early since the Navy is about to take more and more of Rory's time. I am pretty sure we are about to enter a time period where he has zero days off:(
Anyways we had a great time just being together. We went to Chincoteague Island in the Virginia's Eastern Shore area. We spent time relaxing together and visited Assateague Island. Assateague Island is a Wildlife Refuge - one of the only places that you can see wild horses. See the pictures below.
It was a great "last hurrah". We will still have special time together but as everyone with children knows it will never be the same.

That is awesome! I have never heard of a babymoon...Cool Idea! Looks like a beautiful place to find some quiet time. Glad you enjoyed each other...and now for the "next step"!
Look at that baby belly!! Aww you are so cute- I can't wait to see you next week!!!!
How fun. You are right, children change everything, but truly for the better. I am more in love with my husband than ever before, even after three kids (even though we are in the midst of the hard, extremely busy years of early childhood).
Hi Kim- my email is ste39@juno.com. Look forward to hearing from you!
