Buddha Belly Baby

This past Monday, we had another appointment to see how Baby Fredrick is doing. I was thought to be at 35 weeks and 4 days. At the beginning of the appointment they measure your belly (for those of you who didn't know your fundal height (belly) generally corresponds with your pregnancy week) mine was 39 inches. That really gave Rory and I a shock. Dr Mike then said we should check the baby's size. So we did an ultrasound. They measure different body parts to find the approximate week. Every body part measured around the correct time frame except for Baby F's belly it was at 39 weeks - hence the title Buddha Belly Baby. I asked what that meant and the Dr told me "the baby is well feed" We also found out that the baby is approximately 7.2 lbs. Oh yeah we are having a big one! The Dr said he could almost guarantee we will have a baby over 8 lbs. The Dr said he doubted that the baby would come in the next 2 weeks probably not even the next 3 but he did add that you never know and my water could break that night. The baby's due date stayed at July 20th. Everything seems to be going great with the baby.

Guess we will see what birthday the Lord wants to give our child.

RWFC Baby Shower

BABY SHOWER FOR LITTLE FREDRICK

The Ladies at my VA-RWFC Baby Shower:

Its kind of funny because it ended up being all the ladies from "my side" of the building.

There are two different upstairs at RWFC and all of the ladies present at the shower were from the Wellness side - where I used to work for Holly and presently where I work for Kelly with personal training.

The shower was wonderful!

We had a garden salad with grilled chicken and multigrain bread for lunch and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

I received many wonderful presents which was a blessing!!!

Baby Fredrick's 1st "Play Date"

Yesterday, Friday the 8th, baby Fredrick had his/her first "play date" with little Caleb and Grayson (pictured below). I am so ready to add another baby to the "play group"! Yes, for those of you who are wondering the play date was more for us ladies to get together and chat:)There will be another little one in the "group" soon!

Not too long now! I am in my 34th week.

The baby is approximately 5 lbs and 19.8 inches so states WebMD. During our last office visit Mike, my Doctor, told us that the baby's head was down in position with its little back curled up my right side, its bum right in the middle of my stomach above my belly button and the legs are curled around the left side of my belly. The heart rate is still in the 140s and beating strong. I am amazed that something so long is inside my belly. I hope at least baby Fredrick is comfortable because I don't think I know the meaning of that word anymore. Over the last few weeks the baby has gotten the hiccups which is funny feeling and is still moving as much as s/he can in the space provided.
