Dylan Update

Mr. Dylan was back at the Doctor's office yesterday. I am happy to report everything is wonderful with our little man, but getting shots can be heart wrenching! (for mom that is)

Dylan is now 11lbs 11.6 oz and 23 inches long - a growing boy! I guess he better be growing as much as he eats.

Dylan's Pops & Gau-Gau visited this past weekend. It was Dylan's big personality debut. He has started to coo and smile. He loved smiling at Gau-Gau and was very interested in Pop's hairy hands. Gau-Gau is the special one who Dylan responded to first with a smile. He couldn't have picked a more precious lady, but of course he could have graced his mommy with one first:)

I must say Dylan stole even more of my heart yesterday. He smiled back at me twice. Once when I was putting him in his car seat and again when we were cuddling on the couch. The one on the couch was just precious. He was staring up at me so I smiled at him and instantly he smiled back. I am so excited that my little man is starting to share his personality with us.

I have tried to photograph the elusive smile - some day I will capture it and share with you all.

7 Days until the Gators Season Opener

Dylan is ready to watch the game with his Dad (& Mom) and take notes on how well Tebow plays since that will be his position in the future:).

At least we had the evening together last night.

I promise I will get pictures of Dylan up soon - it is harder without my helper.

When Rory was home we would work together to get the pictures up.

3 Week Dr. Visit!!

On Tuesday Aug 14th, Dylan had his first visit with the Doctor at three weeks old. Everything checked out just fine and he is growing VERY WELL! He is now 10 lbs 5 oz!! That is almost two pounds over birth weight. The Dr. said that is great and Mom is obviously doing just fine feeding. Next Dr. Visit: 2 Months old!

Family Time

This past weekend Aunt Nikki, Aunt Joanna and Kaelyn came to visit Dylan.

Four Wonderful Years!

We celebrated our 4th anniversary on August 2nd. What a wonderful 4 years it has been! This year was topped off obviously by the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Dylan. This anniversary was therefore not quite like the others. Life is forever changed (for the better of course)!!

Dinner parties will just never be the same. This was Cheddar's takeout and was still delicious!!

One week old!!

Dylan has been very busy the first week of his life!! He has had many visitors and is now finally getting a chance to relax a little with just his Mom and Dad.
